A small journal for people who travel slowly.
Phootprints started as a shared notebook between three friends who kept arriving home with the same complaint: everything written about the places we loved was either a listicle or an advert. So we started writing the thing we wanted to read instead.
The name is a bad pun and we are keeping it. Half footprint, half photo — which is roughly what a trip leaves behind.

Nobody pays to appear here. If a place is recommended it is because someone on the team went, paid, and came back with something to say.
One place, properly
We would rather publish four thousand words on one valley than a list of twelve you will never visit. Depth over coverage, always.
Say the boring parts
Costs, permits, bus times, which day the market is closed. The practical detail is the part that actually helps.
